2 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

At Rushby’s, we take great care in crafting our jewellery and guarantee that all pieces purchased directly from us will be free from manufacturing defects. If you believe your item has a defect, please refrain from wearing it and contact us immediately to arrange an inspection. This warranty is valid for two years from the date you receive your finished ring.

If your jewellery is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at no cost. However, due to the organic nature of our materials, an exact match to the original piece may not always be possible. We will, however, make every effort to provide a replacement as close as possible to the original.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not include damage resulting from normal wear and tear. Please refer to our Conditions and Exclusions list below for further details. If, after inspection, the damage is determined not to be caused by a manufacturing defect, we will provide repair options and associated costs.

Any work performed on your Rushby’s jewellery—such as repairs or resizing—by a third party without our prior consultation and approval will void this warranty.

Please note that due to the organic nature of our materials, variations in gemstone characteristics and colors are normal and add to the uniqueness of your piece. Additionally, as our jewellery is handcrafted, minor variations in craftsmanship may occur and should not be considered defects.

LIFETIME CARE WITH RUSHBY’S

To ensure the longevity of your fine jewellery, we recommend regular servicing and maintenance. We offer a complimentary check-up and cleaning service to keep your piece secure and in pristine condition. Additionally, we can advise if any maintenance work is needed.

For optimal care, we suggest an annual check-up, with a more thorough re-polish and deep clean every few years to avoid unnecessary wear on the metal.

If any maintenance is required, we will provide a detailed assessment, including any associated costs and updated timelines, before proceeding with the work.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty and maintenance services are available exclusively to the original purchaser or their partner if the item was purchased from Rushby’s. If the piece was bought as a gift for a friend or family member, please contact us for guidance.

Any work on your Rushby’s jewellery—such as repairs, resizing, or other services—conducted by a third party without our prior consultation and approval will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

We do not cover damage or loss resulting from failure to maintain or repair your jewellery. Examples of exclusions include:

  • Scratches, nicks, and dents, which are normal for precious metals and not considered defects.

  • Damage caused by exposure to excessive force, harmful conditions, improper wear, improper care, or incorrect storage. This includes damage leading to the loss of a stone.

  • Continued wear of a ring with a bent or damaged claw/mount, increasing the risk of stone loss. Prongs can wear over time and may require restoration. It is the wearer’s responsibility to notify us if the claws need reinforcement to protect the stones.

  • Loss of a stone due to chipping or breaking from normal wear or impact.

  • Warping of the mount or setting due to strong impact.

  • Discoloration from exposure to chemicals, including cleaning products, cosmetics, chlorine from swimming pools, and hot tubs.

Please note that our warranty does not cover the replacement of a center stone.

We do not provide warranties for normal wear, product loss, stone loss, or theft. We strongly recommend taking out insurance for added protection.
